Nesting Pod
Can my baby sleep in the Nesting Pod?
The pod is made for supervised rest and closeness. For 0–4 months, the tied newborn cover forms a soft hammock shape that supports back sleeping. If you'd rather your baby didn't sleep in the nest shape overnight, take the border out and use the nest cover over the flat merino mattress. Your baby then sleeps on a firm, flat surface. Always follow safe-sleep basics: baby on their back, on a firm, flat, clear surface.
What's the difference between a slipcover and a nest cover?
A slipcover is a fitted sheet for the mattress, made from single jersey with no stretch. A nest cover is double-knit (interlock) cotton, which stretches to tie over the border and form the nest. A nest cover can be used as a slipcover. A slipcover cannot be used to make a nest.
When do I switch from the newborn cover to the 4m+ cover?
Once your baby can roll with control, usually around 4 months. The 4m+ cover opens the border into a roomier U-shape.
How do I wash the merino parts?
Gentle wool cycle, wool detergent, cold water, lowest spin. Don't tumble dry. Air the cushion regularly and rotate it weekly.
Moses baskets
What size is the Moses basket?
About 75 × 45 × 30 cm. Each basket is handwoven, so sizes vary by 1–5 cm.
How long can my baby use a Moses basket?
Most babies use it from birth to around six months, or until they can sit up unaided or pull themselves up. Afterwards it makes a storage basket.
Do the stands fit other baskets?
Yes. The birch Rocker and Foldable stands fit KO-COON baskets and any similar-sized Moses basket, fabric carry cot or wooden carry cot.

How much is delivery?
Free on orders over R3,000. Below that, a flat R150.
How long will my order take?
In-stock items reach major centres in about 4 working days; allow 5–6. Made-to-order items take about 3 weeks to make, then 4–6 days to deliver.
Can I collect from your studio?
Yes, by appointment, from Unit 13, Constantiaberg Business Park, Elfindale, Cape Town.
Can I return something?
In-stock items can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging. Made-to-order items can't be returned unless faulty. Read the full Delivery & Returns policy.
